What is Village by BOA?
Village by BOA is an upscale aparthotel in the centre of Porto, made for short and extended stays. It has 40 apartments in five restored buildings around an inner garden. Every apartment has its own kitchen, and hotel services are on site.
Where is it?
At Rua do Bonjardim 541, in the Bolhão neighbourhood, a short walk from Mercado do Bolhão and Trindade metro station.
What is in every apartment?
A fully equipped kitchen, a living area, a working desk, strong free Wi-Fi, a smart TV, air conditioning and a private bathroom with a shower.
What types of apartment are there?
A mix of studios, flats and duplexes, from 30 to 85 square metres. Studios sleep two guests; the larger apartments and duplexes sleep up to four.
Is it suitable for families and groups?
Yes. Families have a kitchen, a living area and room for up to four, with a baby cot and high chair on request. Groups of friends can book several apartments in the same property.
Can I work from Village or stay for several weeks?
Yes. Every apartment has a working desk and strong Wi-Fi. Housekeeping is daily, the fitness room is free and open 24 hours, and a laundry service is available for a fee. Longer stays are priced lower automatically when you book on our website.
What hotel services are included?
Our concierge team is on site from 07:00 to 23:00, with a night team after that. Housekeeping is daily. The fitness room is free and open 24 hours. We store luggage before check-in and after check-out, and can arrange an airport transfer for a fee.
What are the check-in and check-out times? Can I arrive late?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. You can arrive at any hour; entry is keyless and our night team is on site.
Is breakfast available?
Yes. Simpli Coffee, the café on site, serves breakfast, paid separately. You also have your own kitchen.
Is there parking?
There is no parking on site. The nearest public car park is Silo Auto, on Rua Guedes de Azevedo, a few minutes' walk away and open 24 hours. It is a paid city car park.
Is it quiet?
Village is in the city centre, close to everything. The apartments have excellent sound insulation and air conditioning, so with the windows closed they are very quiet.
Is there a lift? Is it accessible?
It depends on the apartment. Some are on the ground floor, some are reached by stairs, and some buildings have a lift. Tell us what you need when you book and we will give you a suitable apartment.
Are pets allowed? Can I smoke?
Pets are not accepted, and the property is smoke-free.
Is there a deposit or a city tax?
A hold is placed on your card at check-in and released after your stay. Porto's city tax is EUR 3 per person per night, from age 13, for up to 7 nights, and is paid at the property.
